ParticipantHi,
I thought I would bring this to your attention.
On the Upcoming Events Widget (A widget that displays the next upcoming x events) the icon with the class of <div class=”list-date”> shows the “cutoff date” not the date of the actual event. (see attachment)
https://www.jamesdoylephoto.com/screen/Widget1.jpgIt also does the same in the sidebar. (see attachment)
https://www.jamesdoylephoto.com/screen/Widget2.jpgAnother issue I noticed, running the Avada theme is that the Google Map now has some rendering issues of the controls. (see attachment)

MemberHi James,
Thanks for using our plugins.
Can you provide some more information about this as I am not able to duplicate right away.
What is your end of day cuttoff?
When did you take the screenshot? Is that date correct at any part of the day?
As the for the Avada map issue that is due to their customization and best to be brought to their attention to fix as we do not support their customizations.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Brian,
Thanks for replying. I’ll try and assist as best as I can.
If you go to any page on my website (www.jamesdoylephoto.com) and scroll to the footer, you will see in the third widget area of the footer I am using the “Upcoming Events Widget”. In my case, the little icon showing the date shows the date I set as the “cutoff date” and next to it, it shows the event name, the event date and time and the cost, which always shows as the correct actual time of the event.
I always set the cutoff time for making a booking at 5pm the day before the actual event.
This date shows on the event icon of the widget until the day of the event and then the entry for that event is removed from the listing in the widget when triggered as a “THIS ACTIVITY HAS PASSED.” on the single event page.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
James

MemberOk so you have the End of Day Cutoff Setting here:
Admin > Events > Settings > General Tab > End of day cutoff
Set to 5 pm?

ParticipantHi Brian,
The Admin > Events > Settings > General Tab > End of day cutoff is set to 12.00 am
The section I am referring to is on the single event page > Tickets > End Sale Date
This is set to 5.00 pm the day before the actual event
I’m not sure how else to explain it.
Cheers

MemberHi,
Thanks for the information.
We were talking about two different things so I just wanted to be on the same page. You were talking about the Ticket Sales Cutoff so I got it now.
I tested on my site, but could not replicate. So there must be a settings difference somewhere.
What is your WordPress Settings here:
Admin > Settings > General > Timezone
Next to the timezone it displays Local and UTC time, please provide that as well. It should be something like this:
UTC time is 2015-09-11 16:26:23 Local time is 2015-09-11 12:26:23
Timezone Settings
What are your two settings here:Events > Settings > General Tab > Timezone Settings
Let me know about those and we can go from here.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Brian,
I found where it was causing the date different!
Events > Settings > General Tab > Timezone Settings
Was set to “Use the sitewide timezone everywhere”. When I changed the setting to “Use the local timezones for each event” it corrected the date difference.
Cheers
