The server responded with a malformed response. Please see the JS console

Hi folks,
I’m a brand new customer. We are importing a Google calendar. We don’t have recurring events, and there are not lots of events-less than 500. I’m getting the malformed response error. This is both with the ical url and trying to upload the file. WHen I go to the JC console, the first several errors I see is this:
<b>Warning</b>: DateTime::modify() [datetime.modify]: Failed to parse time string (last day of this month) at position 9 (o): The timezone could not be found in the database in <b>/blahblahblah/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-importer-ical/src/Tribe/Feed_Parser.php</b> on line <b>398</b><br />

I just installed everything including the pro calendar, so I don’t know if there is some setting I need to change somewhere? Thanks!

ok, I saw another thread where he updated his version of PHP and that helped me. I do have another issue that I will start a new thread on. Thanks.
