The link to my calendar is the same, but the view is totally different. Why ?

Hi there,

The page is a total mess when I view this link, and there are no tooltips : http://thebedford.com/events/

However, when I access the same page, by going to settings/ “Where’s my calendar ? Right here”. It’s perfect and clean, and tooltips are ok but need cleaning up of white text on a white box

What am I doing wrong here ? Many thanks !

Definitely seems like a strange issue. When I click on the link directly to “/events” on your site, I’m directed to the calendar view with a normal, functioning display.

When you experience the issue, are you clicking to the calendar from somewhere else on your site?

Exactly right – clicking the link opens the correct view.

I copied that link and made it a menu item – What’s On, the same page opens up as a mess, on a desktop and mobile. furthermore, the tooltip no longer work, and the calendar is not responsive.

Hey Hugo,

Taking a closer look at your site, it appears that it is ajax loading the pages when clicking on the menu items. However, with that loading, it isn’t allowing the necessary js files for the calendar to work to load.

To verify this, can you try switching to a default theme such as the Twenty Sixteen theme to see if linking directly via the menu creates the same display issue?

Josh, thankyou so much you’re absolutely correct.

My theme has the ability to suppress ajax loading on individual pages and that’s now fixed – cheers !
