ParticipantI came to Pro to have the map as the default view when we arrive on /events
Unfortunately, I don’t see any of my events on this map. When I go to the calendar view, , i see my events, and when i open each of them, the mini-Map shows up correctly.
How can I do to see my events on the map on the front page /events ? Thanks.November 21, 2013 at 2:43 am #77805thomasek
ParticipantI deactivated every extension and went to 2011 default theme and still doesn’t work. The search tool works, but not if i search by location.

ParticipantHi thomasek,
The map view is awesome, isn’t it? Did you set it as the default view in the Event > Settings > Display menu? It won’t show up on your home page, but it should show up on your /events/ page.
Can you verify that you’ve done that for me? Did it solve the problem, or does it persist?

ParticipantHi Julie, Thank you for your answer. Yes it is awesome, but unfortunately it doesn’t work. I have no points on the map. And the search engine doesn’t work too if i search by location.
But the map works good when (from the calendar view) i click on the detail of an event. Please help.November 22, 2013 at 3:13 am #78012thomasek
ParticipantWhen I downloaded the zip files, Safari unzipped them automatically. So I then rezipped each plugin myself with MY custom file names for each plugin. Could this have messed up the links between files and/or database and could explain that the geolocalization doesn’t work on /events ?

ParticipantAnd to answer your question Julie: yes i did what you say and it doesn’t work.

ParticipantHey thomasek,
Renaming files could certainly have an impact, so maybe you want to try downloading in a different browser to prevent the auto-unzipping.
Also, when I go to your site, it looks to be down or broken. I’m not able to see much of anything at the moment, so it’s hard to figure out what’s going on exactly.
Can you try re-downloading the zip file and reinstalling the plugin to see if that helps the situation?

ParticipantHi thomasek,
I did get your message and have looked around your site. I’m puzzled myself about what’s going on. I’m going to ask some other members of our team for their thoughts.

MemberHello thomasek: I saw that you shared a login privately, however this does not seem to provide access to the admin environment – unless I was missing something – so I wasn’t able to inspect the list of plugins.
Would you be able to copy and paste your System Information as provided on the Events → Help admin screen (again, as a private message if you prefer)?
