    Despite adding my licence several times in the settings, I keep getting this nag message at the top of every page in the back-end but there is no update notification for the Community Events plug-in.

    So basically, how do I either update the plug-in or get rid of the message?

    Hi,

    Sorry for the issues you are having.

    I can help resolve them with you.

    Please confirm you are doing all these steps:

    1. Enter License Key
    2. Get a Valid Message
    3. Click Save

    If you are still having issues after doing those steps please let me know and we can take the next steps to find the issue here.

    Also, you can download the latest version from your account here on theeventscalendar.com and manually update the plugin as well.

    Yes, I had already gone through that process several times and the licence was accepted/saved.

    Please note you can download the latest version from your account here on theeventscalendar.com and manually update the plugin as well.

    As a next step to resolve this can you please see if there is a conflict that is creating the issue.

    Okay, uploaded it manually and the message has gone.

    Thanks – just for the record, this is the first time this has happened on this site so I’m fairly certain it’s not a conflict.

    Ok glad you got the update to manually work.

    I would not rule out a conflict without doing the testing, but for now this is resolved.
