The "EVENTS IN" calendar when clicked spreads out beyond screen

I use the events calendar on my other site and love it. I just started a new website and uploaded the events calendar, however I am now having an issue with the “EVENTS IN” search option to select a month and year to jump quickly to a specific month. When you click “EVENTS IN” the calendar jumps to beyond full screen a covers a third of my screen and you can’t see the whole month in the view. If you click the top portion it keeps getting bigger and bigger. My site is still in development and is not live yet. I was about the purchase events ticket and events calendar pro, but I want to have this issue resolved before proceeding. Please give me advise as to how to fix this little calendar and regain it’s functionality.
