This plugin is acting weird. Each time we enter a price or try to edit a price, the price defaults to “FREE” and we cannot edit properly. I’ve seen other comments. Do we need to upgrade to another plugin or something? We have a lot of art classes that we need to fix asap. Please advise.

    Hi Andrea,

So sorry for the trouble here with WooCommerce Tickets! We did indeed replace the plugin with a new one called Event Tickets Plus.

If you log into your account here on this site, there should be a free license key in there for Event Tickets Plus. Then, to help make the transition, we have a post that provides step-by-step instructions to get started.

If your WooCommerce Tickets license expired before the update to Event Tickets Plus, then it’s possible that the new license will not be in your account. Let me know if that’s the case or if you are having any other troubles accessing your account.

    Thanks!
    Geoff

    Hi Andrea,

Would you be so kind as to share your system information with me? You can grab that by heading to Events > Settings > Help, copying the information at the bottom of the screen and then pasting it here as a private reply. This will help me try to recreate the issue on my end to see what’s going on.

Our Pre-Sales forum unfortunately does not have the ability to post private replies, so I am moving this to our Event Tickets Plus forum instead. Same URL, but gives us private replies. 🙂

    Thanks!
    Geoff

    Hey there,

Thanks so much for following up and providing the system information. I’m also really glad to hear that you were able to resolve the issue by narrowing it down to a conflict with the WooCommerce Gift Card plugin.

Do you have a solution where we can still use the Woo Commerce Gift Card plugin?

I have not personally seen this issue pop up with that plugin before. I searched our internal ticketing system and the forum archives to check for past reports and came up short as well, so I’m afraid there’s nothing I’m aware of that would allow the two plugins to integrate better.

Also, each time someone places an order, we get this error:
WooCommerce MailChimp subscription failed: MMERGE4 must be provided – Please enter a value (250)
Can you help with this please?

This sounds like an error with the WooCommerce MailChimp plugin. I was able to find this thread in the plugin’s WordPress.org forum where someone reported the same issue and the plugin author explained that there is likely a merged field (one named “MMERGE4) in the plugin settings that is set to “required” and needs to be updated in the settings. The forum post provides a workaround for it as well, so that’s worth trying. And, if it doesn’t work, then I would suggest reaching back out to the WooCommerce MailChimp plugin author for more information.

    Thanks again for following up!

Hi Andrea, and hope you had a great weekend!

I see my last reply was marked as the correct answer. I’ll go ahead and close this thread but do please keep us posted if anything else like this pops back up and we’d be more than happy to help. 🙂

    Cheers!
    Geoff
