The Events Calendar Pro performance

Hi all,
I’m curious how we can improve our site’s performance when using The Events Calendar. We rely on it for sure, but it adds about a half a second of load time to each page — more than every other plugin combined. I’m curious if there are any ways (official or unofficial) to limit this drag on the entire site and perhaps sandbox The Events Calendar to only the pages where it needs to be run.

Any help would be appreciated!

The Events Calendar can handle large numbers of events and work well even in very high traffic websites. However, it is important to understand that performance is dependent on many environmental factors that the plugin itself is often unable to manage automatically.
