The Events Calendar PRO – Agenda View Plugin: Agenda tab

Hi there,

I’ve looked around for a solution in the forum, but didn’t come across anything.
My issue is the following:

I’ve “succesfully installed”, as described in this topic: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/agenda-view-plugin/

Unfortunately the “agenda” tab is missing in my Event settings page, despite:
– the plugins being activated (events, events pro, agenda view)
– deactivating all (except above) plugins

Hey there, Tim! Welcome to the support forum. 🙂

I see what you mean. You’re able to check the Agenda View in Events > Settings > Display, but the Agenda tab at the top of Event Settings is not there. It’s the same for me when I install the Agenda View plugin.

It’s definitely a bug and I’m glad you brought it up. We use the Agenda View plugin as an example of the ways that The Event Calendar can be customized and isn’t something we actually support. Still, we need to do a better job of communicating that and updating our tutorials to reflect what’s current. Thanks for pointing that out so we can get started on that so it’s not an issue for others.

If you’re looking to create custom views, head on over to our Themer’s Guide. It will show you how to template overrides work for making custom views.

Again, sorry for the poor communication and outdated tutorials. I’ve noted these with the team and will work on some updates.
