    Hello,

I’m working on a website with The Events Calendar and I would like to have the Month View below the List View. I read that it wasn’t possible to have two views on the same page but I just want to be sure.

    – Is it possible to display the Month View and add the List View Widget above ? I need both views to take the entire width of my container (no sidebar). If it is possible, how can I do it ?
    – With The Events Calendar Pro, would it be possible to do the same and display the Month View via a widget below the List View ? Taking the entire width of my container, again without any sidebar.

Good evening Quentin and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

I would like to have the Month View below the List View. I read that it wasn’t possible to have two views on the same page but I just want to be sure.

Actually, until recently this was quite complicated to accomplish.
But now, this is totally feasible, thanks to our full calendar shortcodes: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/

To be able to do that however, you will need to a copy of our the Events Calendar Pro premium add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

I have bought Event calendar Pro and used two types of shortcode on one page. Namely list & month. But unfortunately, only one view is showing and other is not at all visible. Can you please help me out? I am confusing

Sorry for the late answer, I changed my mind and found another solution by coding a menu of every month because the demand was changed.

Thank you for your answer Geoff B. ! 🙂

    Good evening Quentin,

    Thank you for writing back.

First off, I am super stoked that you found a solution. Kudos!

With that in mind, I believe Sruthi is right. This is my bad.
The Pro shortcodes will not allow 2 full calendar views on the same page.

At best, you can have a widget shortcode and a full view shortcode.

So a potential workaround would be to use the upcoming events widget shortcode (which is similar to the event list view) AND the full month view.

Another solution would be to use both the third-party shortcode (https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-shortcode/) for the list view and Pro’s month view shortcode.

In any case, is there anything else I can help you with Quentin ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Thank you for the reply Mr.Geoff B.

My problem has been resolved. For that, I have used some post query in plugins default-template.php in ../src/views folder and the shortcode for viewing month type.

    Thank you for the support!

    Have a great day!!

I have a doubt in displaying related events. In what method the plugin filtering the related events? I am not getting related events in single-page. I have checked the option to show related events in the back end.
Can you please help me out?
    Thank you!

    Good afternoon Quentin,

You are welcome back in our support forums any time 🙂

For now, I am going to close this thread.

    Have a great weekend!

    Geoff B.

p.s.: Sruthi, related events are events from the same Events Category. None will show up if you there is no other event in the same event category.

If you have additional questions, I would recommend opening a separate thread so that you can receive personalized attention to your question.
