The events calendar link produces an error…can't see it at all

I click the events calendar link and get 404 (Page Not Found) Error. When I used this in 3.7.1 on IWP it was fine so I’m thinking its the 3.8.1 version of WP that my prod site is running on. The widget works (I use the list view of the upcoming 5 events) and I can view individual events as well.

Thanks for getting in touch! Sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Can you try resetting your WordPress permalinks? To do this just go to Settings->Permalinks and select any option besides the Default Permalinks and click ‘Save’.

I tried that and it didn’t work unfortunately.

I figured it out. I changes the events URL slug from events to events2 and it’s fine now. Thanks a million!
