The Events Calendar and Upfront Theme

I am trying to integrate The Events Calendar plugin with the Upfront theme (from WPMUDEV) – I can use the widget to display a list of the events but when I click on an event (to view its details) I am unable to get to the right page.

Any hints on what steps I need to accomplish this?

Thanks for your prompt response. Allow me to rephrase the question (as a pre-sales question) then.

Is The Events Calendar Pro compatible with the Upfront/Spirit theme from WPMU DEV?

I tried to do it on my own (with the free version) and I wasn’t able to do it.

I *AM* interested in buying the plugin (PRO version) but only if I can integrate it with the theme I am planning to use (and already purchased)
