the EventCalendar categories can be the WP Entry´s Categories?

Hello
i have a wordpress whit an Event Elegan Theme. I buy the EventCalendar Pro, everithing is working fine, but i have a problem.
Categories of wordpress are different categories of EventCalendar, then when I add a regular post, that are displayed in the main slide topic but when I add an event on the EventCalentdar, this is not seen in the slide of the main theme, that is because the categories are separated.
There is any way to use on EventCalendar the SAME categories that i have for the regular WP Post?

Hi there Lorena. Thanks for the note and sorry to hear you’re having issues here. You can indeed merge your event posts with regular blog posts. We will have official support for this functionality in a future build (probably 2.1), but in the interim check out this little tutorial we put together on the matter: https://theeventscalendar.com/show-your-events-in-the-main-post-loop/.
