THE EVENT FEATURED IMAGE IS NOT DISPLAYING

Hi. Somehow, we can no longer see any of the event’s featured images.
I tried the regenerate thumbnail plugin, but the images are still missing.
Instead, in the image section we see the img url path.

Hey Juan,

Really sorry to hear about this—I’m not able to recreate any issues with featured images on my own test site, so I’m wondering two things:

1. Can you please share a link to a couple of specific events on your site that have featured images that are not showing up any more?

2. Can you create a new test event on your site and add a featured image to it, then publish it? Does the featured image for this event show up without issue?

Hi George.
All the events are now missing the featured image. Before, there were no issue with featured images. These are only two examples:

Gran Fondo Riviera Nayarit

Carrera OXXO 5 y 10K Culiacán

I just created an event: https://metadeportiva.com/evento/demo/
I set a featured image and published it. It its not showing.

Please help! 🙂

Hi again George!
Seems like the PHP code for the single-event-page from the plugin changed in the last update.

This line of code: <?php echo tribe_event_featured_image( $event_id, 160, 160, true ); ?> was set to false, I changed to “true” and now all thumbnails are showing.

I don’t know why the update would change that, but now it’s working.
