ParticipantWhen I go to my community event page to add a description http://marketresearch.events/events/community/add the description area will not allow the user to enter text in both visual and text mode. Can someone help me fix this?

ParticipantHi Eric,
I went to the link you provided and I was able to edit that description field – and, in fact, every other input field too. I checked in all modern browsers on a MacBook and was able to use all the inputs, so I’m curious: in what browser and operating system do you see these issues in? If you change browsers, or even computers if possible, does the behavior change for you?
This seems like a theme-related issue – if you can activate a default theme like Twenty Twelve on your site and test this out, you should. Let us know if you can do this and, if so, what you find!
Thanks!

ParticipantThank you George. I was able to fix this – there was a conflicting plug-in that I didn’t realize was disabling the field.

ParticipantThanks for the update Eric, I’m glad you found the culprit! Out of curiosity, what was the problematic plugin? We can investigate further and see if there’s anything we can improve on our end of things.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey George,
I would love to be able to use the plug-in, with The Events Calendar. The name of the plugin is called Bloom by Elegant Themes. Here is the link to the Bloom page that gives a detailed overview: http://www.elegantthemes.com/plugins/bloom/#
Please let me know if you are able to figure out why it conflicts.
My very best,
Eric

ParticipantHi Eric,
Thanks for sharing the plugin in question – we’ll keep our eye on further reports of conflicts and can investigate further.
I’ll close up this specific for now, but stay tuned to product updates and the changelog for each update – if specific updates are made to improve compatibility with this plugin, they’ll be noted there.
Sorry for the disappointment here Eric! I hope the rest of your project goes smoothly.
Cheers,
