ParticipantFirst, I can’t automatically share my config with you – I continuously get “No route was found matching the URL and request method Code:rest_no_route Status:404”
Mainly, though…
It lools to me as if the Eventbrite link is getting the Server Timezone and not the WP one – every time I create a ticket, I end up without the UTC offset when it gets to Eventbrite. Every single time. Without fail. From the system variables that I have pasted below in this support request, it seems to me that the key factor has to be the server time – the server I am on (a shared one) is set to UTC.
WP TIMEZONE
Australia/Melbourne
WP GMT OFFSET
11
SERVER TIMEZONE
UTCThis means that I have to edit every event in Eventbrite and ensure that there are no changes made in WordPress otherwise I end up with the event being shifted 11 hours often to the early hours of the morning after it is supposed to occur.
There is zero variability with this – it is literally every time. I have checked both options for timezones in The Events Calendar settings to verify this and they make no difference to the problem.
Are there any known plugins that work with The Events Calendar that can ensure that the time passed to Eventbrite is based on the WP client timezone rather than the server one?
Cheers
Steve

KeymasterHi Stephen,
Thanks for reaching out with your issue. I’m really sorry this timezone misery is happening. Editing every event must be really nerving, not to say time consuming.
The server where you are hosted, where is it located? If it’s located in the Melbourne timezone, do you think it would be possible to ask the provider to properly set the timezone on the server?
I will check with the team if anything can be done with this Timezone-Eventbrite thing. Please hang in there.

KeymasterHello Steve,
Thanks for your patience. I ran some test with creating events with different settings and publishing them to Eventbrite. Luckily I’m in the UTC timezone so I even had the same server timezone settings as you. So far I haven’t been able to reproduce your issue.
Could you please send me some screenshots, so I can investigate further? This is what I would need:
- timezone settings of WordPress (Settings > General – https://cloudup.com/cJoNqtRqvnZ)
- timezone settings of The Events Calendar (Events > Settings > General tab – https://cloudup.com/c03nK-6F7tI)
- Time / timezone settings of a faulty event (https://cloudup.com/c-y3NYsX-pX)
- Time / timezone settings of the same event in Eventbrite (https://cloudup.com/cXr0k2SSb19)
It would be best if you could create a brand new (test?) event. This would also help us see if the issue still exists.
Waiting for your reply.
