Textarea extrafield outputs text in single line

Hi,
As I saw that you are not providing support for textarea extrafieldds, I decided to build my own. The info from it gets to the database formatted(new row if the user added it by hitting Enter), but it outputs to the front-end on a single line, no new rows. It’s not a theme issue, as I have other textareas on pages created with another plugin and it works great.
Please point me to where I should look in order to fix the output from the database to frontend.

What are you using for the new row character? \n? \r\n? ? PHP_EOL?
