testing CC transactions

I’m almost positive I’ve seen the answer to this somewhere, but I can’t find it now when I need it… How do I test a form with an authorize.net credit card transaction field on it? I see that there is a “Test Mode” under settings, but am not clear as to what happens exactly when I set that mode. I need to be able to debug a form by entering CC information and seeing what happens to it without actually uploading a valid transaction.

This is probably a question you may want to bring up with your payment gateway, but I found some information that may be useful to you in going into Test Mode:
