I’m developing a site that I thought I’d installed TEC Pro on (Turns out I only had TEC standard installed).

On top of TEC, I’d subsequently bought and added licence key for The Filter Bar, which I need. I tried adding the licence key for filter bar and the spinner appeared but never confirmed. I now realise this was probably because TEC Pro was not installed and validated before I installed Filter Bar.

I’ve now upgraded my licence to Business so I can add TEC Pro to this second site with the same licence code and then try again with adding the filter bar.

But when I try adding the TEC Pro licence key, and save changes, I get the same spinner which never goes, and I don’t get a green or reed alert either. Looks like something is stuck in the pipe!

TEC Pro add licence key error

I can then activate the Filter Bar plugin and get the licence field appear, but when I add the licence key, I get the same spinner, now below both fields!!!

TEC Pro & Filter Bar add licence key error

On your site, it now shows the new domain appearing for the correct licences, but it’s still disconcerting that I haven’t received a green alert on my site that licences are good/confirmed.

    TEC Pro domains acknowledged

Also, now I’m trying to use the filter on the front end, when I select any filter option/category, i get a different spinner appear which never goes away and nothing is filtered, so I asume plugin is definitely not working or installed correctly.

    Filtering not working

Can you help me out guys as I need to demo this tomorrow am! What do you suggest I do? Have spent a long time entering these events too.

I’ve managed to sort this out myself. I noticed an error in web inspector and it turns out there was an ‘unexpected token’ coming from a badly formatted PHP comment in functions.php file in my child theme.

    Apologies.
