TEC is Auto Updating even though I have enabled this

I have made several edits to the event calendar plugin and without manually updating these are getting automatically overwritten.

Is there any way to prevent this?

Automatic updates are actually a feature of WordPress, rather than our plugins.  You can read about how to prevent automatic updates here:
