ParticipantI am a new pro member. As I review the forum, I see others have this same issue and it looks as though a new thread is in order.
I have multiple upcoming events and want to filter the Events List widget to show an event that is occurring at a later date. I have set everything up to have filters and tags, but when I go to “Add a filter > Select a Taxonomy term > Save” the widget does not save the filter or tag choice and defaults to next scheduled event.
I am running WP: Version 4.6.1 and Events Calendar PRO Version 4.3.2
Any help is greatly appreciated.

KeymasterHello Patty,
Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums!
I’m sorry you had to wait so long for a first reply.
Thanks for reaching out with your question. This bug has been reported recently. We already have a bugticket filed for it. I’m going to add this thread to it as well to give it more push.
At the moment we don’t have any code on hand that you could paste in to circumvent the issue. You can try downgrading the plugin one version back and wait for a fix to come. If you choose to do this, please make sure you downgrade both the core and the Pro plugin for smooth functionality, as mismatching versions can misbehave.
I am going to close this ticket to new replies, but the issue is still open and we will update this ticket once we release a fix, so you will be notified.
If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and reference this one.
Thanks and cheers,

ParticipantHello!
I wanted to share that we’ve just published The Events Calendar 4.3.5, which includes improvements to the widget taxonomy filters and which might help with some of the things you reported here.
You can learn more about the release on this page → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-the-events-calendar-4-3-5-event-tickets-4-3-5-and-premium-plugins/
Cheers!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
