Take Events out of search results on WordPress website

Hello! We have the plugin installed on this website: https://koleperformancegroup.com/ We love the plugin, thank you. Our only request is: we’d like to make it so when you do a search in the search box, events don’t come up. For example, if on this page I do a search for “leadership” – all the past events come up when really I just want the blog posts to come up (like this). Is there a way I can make it so events don’t show up in search page results? Thank you.

Hi Michael,

So glad to hear you’re liking the plugin so far! Can you try adding the snippet in this article to the functions.php file of your child theme? This should prevent events from showing up in your search results.
