Tags filter not working in shortcode photo view

I have been working with shortcodes and have run into problems with tag filters in photo view. I can successfully filter based on categories with photo view, but not tags.

On my local install, I’ve deactivated all other plugins and activated the default Twenty Fourteen theme with the same results.

Here is what I’ve tried:

Categories work fine:
[tribe_events category=”performance-labs” view=”photo” tribe-bar=”false”]

And the default list view works fine:
[tribe_events_list tags=”dale-chihuly”]

When I try photo view and tags, it doesn’t work. I get the entire event list unfiltered:
[tribe_events view=”photo” tags=”dale-chihuly”]

Any ideas if there is a fix for this?
