GuestHi,
I’d like to know how to set up a table with different types of tickets for the same event.
I’ll have a conference with 5 workshops, and I have three different costs depending on membership, so, instead of a list, I would like a table where I could put the list of the 5 workshops in rows, and the three columns with the different costs per event. Thanks,
Marcela

MemberHi Marcela,
Thanks for considering our plugins!
What you have described is a comparatively complicated structure and – especially if you need to place limits on the number of people who can attend each workshop – may be tricky to model from within a single event.
Presenting the tickets in a table structure rather than as a regular list again may also require some amount of customization work – it’s not something that’s supported out of the box, I’m afraid to say – though is certainly possible.
I hope that clarifies things and do let me know if you have further questions.

GuestHi Barry,
Thank you for your answer. No, I don’t need to set up limits on the tickets, I just want to have that grid to make the selection easier. Is there any article I could read?
I found another plugin that does that in the free version, although unfortunately, doesn’t connect in the same way with Paypal. It would certainly make a difference for this type of events, and I would renew this plugin for next year without question.
Thanks,
Marcela

MemberHi Marcela,
Almost all of the frontend views generated by our plugins can be customized pretty extensively – and safely – via template overrides (which are simply custom copies of templates located in your theme or child theme). An overview can be found here:
theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide
So, if you simply wish to reformat the regular list of tickets into a tabular form that ought to be pretty straightforward 🙂
I hope that helps!
