ParticipantI cannot determine how to display ALL events for the community (not just for me as a user) in a table like list. Also, how can such a list be sorted in date order?
Why isn’t there a single page listing all available LINKS for Pro? It seems you have to search out everything one by one in order to get a complete picture of the capabilities of this plugin.
Thanks

MemberHey Bob,
Welcome back! Hope you’re doing well. 🙂
You’re right that the plugin does not currently support a condensed view like that, nor for a view that display all events, both past and upcoming.
I do believe it is possible to do that, but it would require a good amount of custom development. While we’re limited in how much we can support custom development questions like this here in the forums, I’m happy to at least help you move in the right direction.
I f I were tackling this, I would likely start with a custom query using the tribe_get_events() function as a starting point. Here’s a full overview of how it works:
That allows you to construct fetch events, regardless of past or upcoming and to determine how they are sorted.
From there, it’s a matter of creating the markup in a custom page template for the layout you want, then styling it with CSS.
Sorry I don’t have a concrete solution for you here, but will this at least help get you started? Please let me know.
Cheers!

ParticipantThanks Geoff and thanks for the help on my license issue the other day.
OK, my question in the above post also asked where a comprehensive list of links were for thee Pro (and Community) could be found. I seem to find bits here and bits there but never a comprehensive list. What is the reason for for spreading everything out all over the place instead of providing a manual or list somewhere that newbies like me can find quickly?

MemberHi Bob,
Oh yes, I did miss the second part of your question — sorry about that!
That’s a really good point. I mean, there are a list of key links in the WordPress Admin Bar at the top of the screen when you are logged into WordPress, where the Events tab guides you to everything from calendar settings to the actual calendar and many things in between, but I imagine there are other things that could be added there per your observation.
Can you give me a few examples of links you would like to see directly added that would make things easier for you? I’d be happy to share your feedback with the team and perhaps even help write a formal feature request with you to post in our feature request forum.
Cheers!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
