Syntax error: Extra LT bracket and GT bracket in mini calendar navigation

I was looking at the page source of my page to see if I can figure out a problem and ran a syntax check on it. There seems to be a stray < in the previous link and a stray > in the next link navigation. If these aren’t strays, they should be encoded as ampersandlt and ampersandgt to prevent syntax errors in validation.
