We are using your plugin across a large set of sites and because of this we symlink the plugin directories. We are having issues with getting 404 errors for tons of JS and CSS assets due to this. Symlinks are supposed to be supported in WordPress plugins. I have read another forum post that said some of this was fixed but I am still seeing a ton of 404 errors even with the latest updates.
I am currently fixing the issue by using the tribe_asset_pre_register hook to change out the URL but it appears that the plugin is using the real server path to assets rather than the way that is supported with symlinking. Is your team already aware of these issues with symlinks?
Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
