ParticipantHi,
I just submitted a support case and this might be related.
If you visit http://www.commonwaychurch.com/events, it will load. But if I visit it from within my site menu, it never loads. I already submitted a ticket for that.
This issue is related to the month switching. On the same page, if I try to switch months, the next month never loads. If I visit the page directly, like http://www.commonwaychurch.com/events/2015-10/, that works.
Any thoughts relating to this issue?

MemberHey 2tonypantello,
Did you happen to notice the same issue when switching to the default WordPress theme (Twenty Fifteen)?
The reason I ask is that I see some Javascript errors in the console when viewing the site and my hunch is that the same JS issue you tickets that is causing the page not to load is also at play here. Switching themes will help us confirm that.
If that’s the case, then I think reaching out to the theme author is the best route. Not to push you away from here, but because it’s extremely tough for us to pinpoint an issue with another developer’s code.
Let’s start there and see what we find and go from there!

ParticipantHi Geoff – thanks for the reply.
Yes, the issue was resolved when switching to the 2015 theme.
Can you provide me any detail on the javascript error that you found that I can pass on to the theme developer?
THanks again.

ParticipantHi Geoff – me again. After talking with the theme developer, it looks like the issue was resolved by switching the page transition setting from AJAX to standard within the theme. The theme I’m using is Salient just for future reference if anyone else runs into this issue. Thanks again for the help.

MemberRight on! Thanks for following up and especially for the tip with Salient. I’ll make a note of that for sure so we have it on record and can help others in the future.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread but please do feel free to reach back out if any other questions pop up–we’d be happy to help. 🙂
Cheers!
