ParticipantHello, I bought the pro license last week to test out the plugin before I offered it to my client for their new website.
They want to go ahead and use it – but now after reading your support topic on the client holding the license not the developer – I am wondering whether to:-– get the client to buy a whole new license and I use mine for another project
– or if I used my license for the first year, could I then switch to a new license key if I then get my client o buy the license from year 2 onwards – and it not affect the calendar?I am also concerned that if the license is not auto renewing – that the client may forget to manually renew and therefore it would break their site if they did not renew….?
Your advice would be gratefully received!
Thanks

ModeratorHi Lucy,
Thanks for reaching out! I’d love to answer your questions 🙂
Either of those scenarios would work for your client. The plugin won’t necessarily “break” once the license expires, but it’s always recommended to renew your license before it expires. We send out reminder emails a few weeks leading up to the license expiration date, so that should allow you plenty of time to make arrangements.
Does that help address some of the concerns you’ve raised? If you have any more questions or need more clarity, feel free to respond. Again, thanks for reaching out and I hope to see you around the Premium support forums. Have a great week!

GuestThanks for your speedy reply Hunter (And cool name!)
OK so if my client buys her own license next year and we swap to her license key before mine runs out, all will be good?
Thanks! If you just confirm this I’ll close the thread as answered 🙂April 21, 2016 at 11:03 am #1105535Hunter
ModeratorHello (and thanks for the compliment!)
You hit the nail on the head. Everything will continue as normal for your site when swapping the license keys out. Thanks again and let me know if you have any more questions 🙂
