    Hi,

I installed The Events Calender and Events Calendar Pro, as well as Community Events on a News website.
all version 4.3. All in all I like the plugin functionality.

Unfortunately the next month links and the next events in the main calendar page are not loading.
it worked like a charm during testing and even when the whole thing was turned live today. Now the next links dont work and the loading wheel keeps spinning…I did not change the configuration of the server since testing…

There are not too many events in the calendar yet either, as it just went live, so this should not be an issue.

I went through the steps to check for conflicts, turned off plugins and even returned too twenty sixteen standard theme, still it did not work anymore.

I use W3 Total Cache with page cache only but couldnt find anything on issues with that, also it worked with W3TC before.

Can you please check it out and see if you know a possible solution or maybe you know what could be the problem?
I use some mini-calendar widgets based on the site specific event categories, but problem persist even when only a few are active…

Do you see any kind of conflict? Could this be a server issue? (database performance), we have a large virtual server which should have enough power i think…

Also, when I save an event during creation, without publishing it right away, the location is not saved…

The events page is at: http://www.mrn-news.de/events/

I’d appreciate you looking into this.

    Thanks

Hi, Raphael. Sorry you’re experiencing this.

That link isn’t our plugin’s calendar, and this isn’t currently a known issue.

However, this may be helpful: http://tangerinemoons.com/using-wordpress-w3-total-cache-modern-tribes-event-calendar/ (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us)

Please let me know if that resource helps.

    Hello!

You’re right, that site is the old site… I had to take down the new site once more after BETATEST failures and problems with your plugin and some other issues.

I check to see if the provided link can help. On the other hand I ran into several often discussed bugs, that can be found on the support forums with your not-so-cheap calendar-plugin, that makes its use on a busy site unfortunately unhandy… for example the saving problem of the location with user-submitted events, if they’re not published right away…

While searching I found that several users ran into similar difficulties with TEC to which no real solution can be found… only workarounds, so I might try out another calendar plugin, that is more handy….

    Regards

Raphael, I’m sorry to hear about your multiple frustrations using our products. Of course, that’s never our intention.

We’d be glad to assist with each of the issues you’ve been dealing with (please create a separate forum thread per issue). Maybe they’re bugs we haven’t discovered yet, or maybe there’s a known workaround we can assist you with.

Please let me know if you think there’s another way we can help, too.

    Thanks.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
    The Events Calendar Support Team
