ParticipantI have an event whose subsequent recurring instances are not displaying in the list and month view. When you see the initial event, it is notated as recurring and hovering over the Recurring Event text shows the all occurrences. However the List and Month views are only showing the event’s first occurrence (1/12) and none of the subsequent occurrences (1/13, 1/14, 1/17, 1/18).
I’ve checked the Settings screen and confirmed that the “Recurring event instances” is still unchecked. The issue is happening on my live site, but in order to help with isolating it I’ve updated my staging site with a fresh copy of the site, I’ve updated all plugins, and I’ve switched to the TwentySixteen theme which has no customizations (my regular site does).
The event in question is “Lady Bird” (http://portsnh.staging.wpengine.com/event/lady-bird/2018-01-12/ or http://portsnh.staging.wpengine.com/event/lady-bird/all/). It first occurs on Jan 12 (shows correct) and subsequently occurs on 1/13, 1/14, 1/17, 1/18 (these do not show on List or Month View).
You can see the initial event in the list view (on page 3 presently – http://portsnh.staging.wpengine.com/calendar/list/?tribe_paged=3&tribe_event_display=list)
You can also see it on the Film list view (http://portsnh.staging.wpengine.com/calendar/category/film/) or the Film month view (http://www.portsmouthnh.com/calendar/category/film/month/). Note that the subsequent showing don’t appear on these either. Please advise. I’m happy provide a WordPress login to the site for further investigation. I’ve presently activated the TwentySixteen theme (TwentyFourteen didn’t display well at all) and I’ve deactivated ALL plugins except Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO.

ParticipantI think I’ve noticed a pattern: If it’s a recurring event that occurs at the same time each day, I just choose the “daily” recurrence option and enter the end date, then add exclusions for any dates it’s not happening — and that works fine. But, if I have to add each event using the “once” option, because there are different times on different days, I get that error message when I try to publish and only the first instance appears.

KeymasterHi Matthew,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue on your site!
Unfortunately we cannot log in to your site per our Support Policy, but I will do my best to assist you here.
Would you mind taking a screenshot of what the recurrence rule looks like on the backend so that I can try to replicate the event on my end?
In addition, what is the error message that you are seeing when you try to publish?
Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantThe error I got was a non-descriptive 500 error (no other helpful text). When i try to go back and recreate this issue, I am not getting the 500 and it’s displaying fine, so please consider this issue closed. A server issue must have caused it. Thank you.
