We’re using WooCommerce Subscriptions with Event Tickets Plus to create payment plans for some events. Our process is:
- Create an event and add tickets to it
- Price the tickets according to the monthly subscription charge
- Once the event is published, edit the Products associated with the tickets to change them from simple products to subscription products and set up the subscription terms
However, it appears that every time a subscription payment is charged, a ticket is deducted from the total tickets available. For example, we have one event with 5 attendees. One attendee has been charged for two subscription payments and another attendee has been charged one subscription payment. The attendee list shows 5 attendees, but WooCommerce has technically charged this particular product 8 times. We’ve had to set the event’s shared ticket capacity to 8, because when it’s set to 5, it shows -3 tickets available.
Do you have any recommendations for resolving this?

Thanks so much for reaching out!
Our plugin is designed to work with simple products, so I cannot guarantee compatibility with subscription products.
If everything works, with the exception of the number of tickets available, you can hide the number of tickets available so as not to confuse your users.
Also, does this only occur when you have a bare WordPress install (a default WordPress theme, and only our plugins and Subscriptions installed)?
Can you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?
