Subscribe specific users to calendar events

Hello,

I have an Events Calendar Pro license and was wondering how to ‘subscribe’ SPECIFIC users to new events on the calendar. By that I mean, say you have an editor or subscriber group in WP. You create a new event, now you want only the editors and subscribers that find that content relevant to get emails about its creation and subsequent edits/ comments, etc.

I was going to try and see about finding another plugin that notifies users of a tag that they’re subscribed to and just have a work around that way, but it still doesn’t tell the user on WHICH day/page the new content is. Is there a built in function for notifying users about the new events? Can there be one? I need this functionality.

Hi, Adrian.

We don’t have a particularly straight-forward solution for this request, but https://wordpress.org/plugins/event-calendar-newsletter/ (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us) might be a good fit for your needs.

Also, you could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.

This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
