I am struggling with the styling associated with the upgrade – luckily I upgraded on a dev site. I put my events.css and my page views within an events folder in my theme. However the upgrade does not access my templates and styling.
We’ve updated resources such as our Themer’s Guide to reflect the latest changes, so do take the time to review them.
Basically though you would now need to create a subdirectory within your theme called tribe-events and the stylesheet ought to be tribe-events.css. Unlike previous versions, this augments the existing stylesheets rather than replacing them – so it need only contain rules for elements where you are unhappy with the default styles.
There’s a good chance they will have changed – you could certainly paste your old rules in and see what does/doesn’t stick then take things from there.
There are no security issues in 2.0.11 that I’m aware of, though I believe a number of performance enhancements were packed into the current release – also note that the support we can provide for the 2.x series will be minimal going forward, nor are fixes likely to be issued for any problems that do spring up.
