REYNALDO
ParticipantHi, I am trying to figure out how to style the main events page so it looks like the rest of the site. I am using visual composer and slider revolutions. On all my other site pages I can easily access the page and add the slider revolution module (red header) to the page. However, I can’t seem to be able to access the Main Events page to configure it the same. Is there documentation for this or what am I missing? For full disclosure, I am using PRO with the Filter bar. I thought the [tribe events] widget would solve it but it does not support the filter bar.
I could use some help here. Thanks!

MemberGood evening REYNALDO and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. On all my other site pages I can easily access the page and add the slider revolution module (red header) to the page. However, I can’t seem to be able to access the Main Events page to configure it the same. I thought the [tribe events] widget would solve it but it does not support the filter bar.
That is probably because the main calendar page is actually not a page per se, but rather an “archive” type of “page”.
You are right, the current full calendar shortcodes unfortunately do not support the filter bar for now. The good news however is that this feature is one of our top ones for 2017.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted when the fix is released.
In the meantime, there are a couple of things that could be done:
- You could try experimenting with the Advanced Template Settings under Events -> Settings -> Display. I am curious to see if you could not add the revolution slider shortcode in the Before HTML section ?
- You could create a template customization and add the slider in the view template directly. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
