Struggling to change any styles for display of Upcoming Events widget (PRO)

I have selected ‘Full Styles’ from the display settings tab, and uploaded my own wp-content/themes/YOUR_THEME/tribe-events/pro/widget-calendar.css obviously replacing YOUR_THEME appropriately. Into that file, I pasted the CSS from the code snippet for the Advanced List Widget on https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/styling-events-widgets/

However, no effect is seen on the resulting widget rendering. When I inspect the code, I see inline HTML style attributes which seem to override the separate stylesheet.

For example, the H2 with class widgettitle has a style attribute of style=”transition: none; line-height: 21px; border-width: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px; letter-spacing: 0px; font-weight: 600; font-size: 26px;”

Am I missing something?

First of all, Can you please send me a link to the site URL where I can see this? I’m not able to find this in the site URL in the system information.

Also, please try to switch to TwentySixteen theme and re-check if those inline styles are present. I’m not seeing those styles in my local site so maybe your theme is adding those? Also, try copying the ‘tribe-events’ folder with your custom CSS to the TwentySixteen folder and re-check if it works correctly there.

The Site is in development, and so the URL is http://www.reephambenefice.org.uk/wp/

The theme in use is, WPExplorer Total Theme. I understand that they specifically recommend Modern Tribe

I’ve inspected the widget in http://www.reephambenefice.org.uk/wp/messy-church/ but couldn’t see the inline CSS you talk about.

Maybe you could make this work at some point? Or maybe I’m not looking in the right place?
