ParticipantOn our calendar view, http://www.815life.com/events, we are seeing strange characters below the calendar after clicking on dates. This is only happening on mobile devices or screen resolution emulation under 750px.

MemberHi Diane,
Thanks for reaching out to us, and sorry for this strange ‘glitch’ you are seeing ๐
I reported a very similar issue that was addressed in the latest release of the plugin, Can you try and update the plugins to the latest version? Please bear in mind it’s always recommended to test the update in a staging server (test site) before doing so in the live site.
I also notice a bunch of Javascript errors in the console that might be affecting this as well. It would be great if you could take a look at them before we continue debugging this issue.
Please let me know if the update fixes this,
Best,

ParticipantHi Nico,
Updating the plugin to Version 3.11.1 did not solve the problem. I also noticed that Firefox shows a different layout than Chrome, Safari, and Edge. Is that normal? Could you send me a list or screenshot of the JS errors you are referring to? The only JS error I’m showing in the debugger is the one in reference to Google Maps API.
Thanks!

MemberHey Diane,
Thanks for following-up on this!
Sorry to alarm you with the JS errors, a couple of those where generated by my ad-blocker extension in Chrome. I see the map error and another one, take a look: https://cloudup.com/cFLSWLymRmx
Latest versions of the plugins are: Core 3.12.1 and PRO 3.12. Can you check on that? A maintenance release for PRO is coming out -hopefully today- o if you can hold a bit until this is out it would be great – it doesn’t include much front-end fixes but it does fix some recurrence bugs that were reported lately.
Also I see you are using a cache plugin: be sure to flush all caches after upgrading. And note that you have some html inserted before the <!DOCTYPE html> doctype declaration with is weird and can cause some random issues as well.
Please let me know when you can update to latest,

ParticipantHi Nico,
I was able to resolve the issue. It looks like having code above the doctype was causing the problem. We are using W3 Total Cache. The code showing up above the doctype declaration was being generated by the ‘minify’ option on W3 Total Cache. I have disabled the ‘minify’ option and this resolved the issue.
Thanks!

MemberHi Diane,
Glad to hear this is fixed ๐ Messing with the doctype declaration -or lacking one- can generate strange glitches for sure!
Iโll go ahead and close out this thread, but if you need help with anything else please donโt hesitate to create a new one and we will be happy to assist you.
Best,
