Stop Event List Page showing first event name on title

Hi guys!

I know there are other threads talking about the same subject, but I could not solve my problem.

Have tested the codes on page https://theeventscalendar.com/faqs/the-calendar-page-title-shows-title-of-an-event/, but did not work.
I need the URL http://www.beautyup.com.br/cursos/ not display the title of the first event registered. How can I do this?

In my header.php am using the code below:
wp_title(”);

And I’m using Yoast WordPress SEO too.
Someone can explain to me?

If you deactivate WPSEO (temporarily) does that resolve this? That may not be a long term solution but it would give us a starting point to work from.

Hi Barry!

Deactivating WPSEO show the title “Incoming Events”.
But, I wish to display a custom title, like “Courses and Events”.

OK – if you review this thread you can probably use the same technique to add a custom title of your own.

I’m not sure if that same approach will work with WPSEO (I suspect it will not – but definitely give it a try) in which case you’d very probably need to set up a specific solution for WPSEO using it’s own hooks.
