I’m just trying to understand how I can update a plugin in my staging environment before updating my live site. The staging environment says I’m out of installs.
No problem! You can update the plugin manually by following these instructions. This article has some more info on using one license on a live and dev site. Even if you are only able to have the license activated on one site, you’ll still be able to update manually on the other.
