Hey team, happy 2016!

We’re using your plugin as the main driving force for our site – we can see the individual events just fine – but the main events page will not load – other pages not associated with your plugin do load.

Please advise – thank you!

Hey Nigel and a happy new year to you as well! Welcome to the forums. 🙂

I see a couple of javascript errors pop up when viewing the site in the console:

Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token if
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

It looks like those errors are coming up as a result of a conflict with the theme.

A couple things to try:

• Change the calendar display settings (Events > Calendar > Display) so that the default calendar template is used instead of a theme template.
• Activate a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Sixteen. If the issue is still there, please leave things as they are and let me see the site from there so I can check it out.

Let’s start there and see what we find. 🙂

I’ll go ahead and close this thread, but it might be worth reaching out to the theme developer before ditching the theme altogether. It looks like theme uses Javascript for loading pages and my bet is that the conflict is somewhere near there. If the theme developer is able to isolate the error and provide a way to perhaps dequeue the script for calendar pages, then you may be able to keep the theme and the plugin together–win, win. 🙂

And, of course, feel free to hit us with a new thread if any other questions–including any from the theme developer–come up and we’d be happy to help as best we can.
