GuestGreetings,
I’m looking for a calendar for a Therapeutic Horseback Riding site. It has some special requirements that I’m not sure are covered out of the box.
1. Students/families must be authenticated and see event information for lessons only if they are their own. Other events would show, perhaps with only title, but with no personal information.
2. Students/families need to be able to re-schedule their lessons.
A. as long as one of the horses they must use is available
B. as long as that horse won’t exceed a threshold of use
C. as long as the date and time are within operating hours
D. as long as their instructor is available (later, as long as any staff instructor is available)
3. Volunteers (2 per lesson) should have the ability to sign up to volunteer for lessons. With all the outstanding examples in your gallery, I’m hopeful that creating a nice appearance from multiple device types is something I’ll be able to figure out!
Thanks,

MemberHi Dave,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins.
Our ticketing plugins are not designed for booking features that you are looking for so it would take a customization to do everything you are looking for.
It would be a rather significant customization as well and we are unable to provide any support on that.
You might want to look at a booking plugin instead of ours.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

GuestI’d still use The Events Calendar for upcoming events in a sidebar.
I looked at a lot of booking plugins this evening; Bookly would do everything EXCEPT allowing users to reschedule themselves. This would involve authentication of some sort. Anyone know of a booking/scheduling plugin that allows self-service rescheduling? I like the Bookly UI: we could have a dropdown listbox of students; student chosen would dictate horse(s) in another listbox, and instructor(s) in yet another listbox.

MemberHi,
Not sure about the booking plugins.
I have looked at bookly before.
I also know of WooCommerce Bookings:
http://www.woothemes.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/
And Booked:
http://codecanyon.net/item/booked-appointment-booking-for-wordpress/9466968
Most likely if you want a person to be able to reschedule you would want them to have an account on your site as that would be the easiest to track.
I will leave this open for now if someone would like to respond.
Cheers
