Spam!

Where does it come from? We get several (sometimes dozens) each day from “Unknown Organizer”, despite “Allow Anonymous Submissions” being unchecked in Community settings and the /events/community/add page not being public.

Unfortunately, spam submissions are a definite problem on sites that get a lot of web traffic. We have some minimal spam safeguards in place, but we’re hoping to improve our spam fighting techniques in a future release. In the mean time, I would suggest disabling anonymous submissions, and allowing users to register on your site to submit events.
