Hi All, i have a question: i bought a wordpress template wich includes your event calender. I added my events but they sort so funny and unlogical: The event that take place in the nearest future is at the end of the list. I want the event that is in the nearest future on top of the list. The template person says that this is complicated and not supported by the theme. I find that very unlikely. What if I buy the PRO calender plugin, is there an easy way to sort my events then chronologicly?
Thanks in advance & best regards, Esther
April 24, 2018 at 3:46 am #1514483CourtneyMemberHi there Esther
I hope I can help. We do normally have events in a logical order in list view. You can preview that at our demo site: https://wpshindig.com/events/list/.
Are the end times of your events spanning several days? Sometimes this can impact sorting order. The examples on our demo site are each within the same day.
I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. Since this sorting issue is a factor in determining if Events Calendar Pro is the solution for you, please send me a link to your events page and I’ll take a look.
Thanks

I’m working with a client on setting up an event calendar on her website. She loves the functionality, but would like the layout to look similar to https://www.capstonewealthpartners.com/events/. Is this something offered on the free plug-in version or is this an upgrade? If free, could you point me in the direction of documentation that could help walk me through the process?
Thanks!

This is the expected layout roughly by list view. You can see it on our demo site at https://wpshindig.com/events/list/.
You can determine this view at Events ยป Settings ยป Display. This works in The Events Calendar as well.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks
