I need to be able to sort the published events in the dashboard by author because I pay an employee by the number of events entered. How can I see that information? It also seems that the titles of each event are only allowed 2 characters per line. Is there a way to configure that? Thanks!

July 15, 2015 at 8:11 am #986619BrianKeymasterHi,
I can help out here.
If the titles are all bunched up together you can change the amount of columns in the Screen Options (upper right corner of the event list) to display less and give more space for the existing columns.
Also in that Screen Options area you should be able to add the author column from there.
Let me know if that works for you.
Thanks

The only problem now is that I can’t sort the list by author. I’m a little stuck because I don’t have an idea of how I can still pay her by event besides asking her to tell me how many events. I’d rather have it more concrete than that.
1. I can’t search by author
2. The reoccurring events automatically generate separate events during the time period so it will multiply the events entered. (Which I love from all other aspects like usability, automatic cloning, ability to edit individual events or the entire series by the way)Am I missing a solution that I’m not seeing since I’m new to Modern Tribe?
Thanks!
July 17, 2015 at 8:12 am #987394BrianKeymasterHi,
Can you click on the author name in the event list in the admin and it will show only that person’s events? I was able to do that in my admin.
I do not have any features to support for counting events by author unfortunately besides that.
Thanks
July 19, 2015 at 6:11 pm #987702Annie TandyParticipantThat’s the strange thing. I can’t sort by author. I see some events in there with her name as the author if I scroll and page through all of the published events, but “Author” does not have an arrow next to it when I hover over it and I can’t click on it. I can only click on “Title” and “Start Date.”
I think I found a solution though. I changed her role from Author to Event Contributor, so all of her’s will be marked Pending. I’ll have to go through, sort them by Title so they are multiplied with reoccurring events and approve them, but at least I will be able to see how many she entered.
I wish there was an easier way, but I’m thinking this is the only way available right now?
July 20, 2015 at 6:54 am #987785BrianKeymasterHi,
If that works for you that maybe the only way to go without creating a custom query in php to do this, if you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
Cheers
