This is a continuation of this thread which was closed by support droid before the issue was resolved:

The advice given (deactivate, delete, reinstall manually) did not work.

I deactivated both plugins and deleted them. I then manually installed both again. (Free & Pro, in that order.) They both work, but I still get the same error message on the license.

I’m going to be concerned about this when my license comes up for renewal in December. I have no compelling reason to renew if I can’t get this plugin to recognize your license server. Right? I mean, what’s the point at that stage?

Any other advice would be grand.

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help resolve this with you.

Please note the license keys are not needed for the plugin to work, they are only needed for automatic updates.

To get some information about the issue can you please try downloading this simple plugin called Validate URL:

After Activating go to Tools > Validate URL

Enter in these two urls:

https://theeventscalendar.com

https://tri.be/

As well as these two IP addresses:

https://162.243.159.176

https://50.116.28.27

And let me know the response code you get.

If none of those are able to connect it means the site is blocked from accessing our servers and you would have to whitelist those ip addresses or check the connection if no sites are accessible such as https://google.com from the validator url check.

Let me know what you find out.
