    Hi guys,

    Running an local install and ran into this error message: “Sorry, key validation server is not available.”

    I only have one license and it’s only running on my local machine right now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi,

    Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help resolve this with you.

    Please note the license keys are not needed for the plugin to work, they are only needed for automatic updates.

    To get some information about the issue can you please try downloading this simple plugin called Validate URL:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/nyugz86o4401ayg/validate-url-.7.zip?dl=0

    After Activating go to Tools > Validate URL

    Enter in these two urls:

    https://theeventscalendar.com

    http://tri.be/

    As well as these two IP addresses:

    http://162.243.159.176

    http://50.116.28.27

    And let me know the response code you get.

    If none of those are able to connect it means the site is blocked from accessing our servers and you would have to whitelist those ip addresses or check the connection if no sites are accessible such as google.com from the validator url check.

    Let me know what you find out.

    Thanks

    Hi Brian,

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    I’m getting a 200 code response for http://tri.be/ and http://50.116.28.27

    I’m getting some sort of error code response for the two other urls.

    Error Found ( error:14077102:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unsupported protocol )

    WP_Error Object
    (
        [errors] => Array
            (
                [http_request_failed] => Array

                    )

            (
            )

    Hi Brian,

    https://tri.be/ works fine, but the other two addresses do not. The same error from before.

    Thanks for the information.

    Do you know if you are running Ubuntu on your server and if so what version?

    Also do you use a ssl for your website?
