I’m sorry to re-open this thread as I allready found one, but closed and with private awnsers.

Since about half a year, my WordPress’ installation of Event Calendar Pro and some other plugins can’t acces the key validation server. It worked fine when I purchased the keys about year ago. Now they are expired and I’d like to renew them, but since I can’t connect to the server, it looks a little pointless.

I tried to disconnect and reconnect my site to your servers before the keys expired, but to no avail so it’s not listet here anymore. The sites URL is “www.helmstedter-tageblog.de”.

Also, TEC attempts to connect to your servers severly hinders the loading of my plugin-page. I have to provoke a timeout first in TEC licence settings before accessing the plugin-page.

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help resolve this with you.

Please note the license keys are not needed for the plugin to work, they are only needed for automatic updates, but it is also something we would like to resolve if you are having issues.

To get some information about the issue can you please try downloading this simple plugin called Validate URL:

After Activating go to Tools > Validate URL

Enter in these two urls:

The Events Calendar

Home

As well as these two IP addresses:

https://162.243.159.176

https://50.116.28.27

And let me know the response code you get.

If none of those are able to connect it means the site is blocked from accessing our servers and you would have to whitelist those ip addresses or check the connection if no sites are accessible such as https://google.com from the validator url check.

Let me know what you find out.

Hi,

Thanks for that if the connection is timing out it might have a block at your server that could be causing this.

Are you able to contact your host to see if they are seeing something block this on their end?

after talking to my providers support, I don’t think my server is blocking yours. Could it however be possible that yours is blocking our server?
