I get this error when I try to validate my license keys for Events Calendar PRO and The facebook plugin (both still valid keys). It has been like this for years.

I know that this is only necessary for automatic updates, but YES, I want automatic updates. Automatic updates should be as simple for the paid products as it is for the free ones, dont you think?

Can you make a knowledgebase-article (which I can share with my server administrator) of what have to be enabled on the server side for the PHP scripts to contact your licensing servers?

These types of errors, if they’re persistent, mean that your site is unable to access our servers. Ensure that the following IP Addresses are whitelisted within your hosting:

https://162.243.159.176

https://50.116.28.27

Thanks, this resolves the problem with license key validation.

Another interesting side-effect is that some wordpress-admin pages load much faster. The plugin page used to load very slowly, probably becuause it timed out when contacting the servers above.
