Sorry to hear you are having issues with The Events Calendar.
I am trying to duplicate the above behavior you described on my test environments and unfortunately I am unable to repeat. When I switch back to Month view I see the date “2014-06-27” converting to “2014-06” and events for the entire month are displayed.
To get to the bottom of this erratic behavior I would like your assistance 🙂
1) Can you deactivate all plugins except for “The Events Calendar” and “The Events Calendar Pro”
2) Switch your theme to “Twenty Fourteen”
3) Re-test the above scenario and see if the behavior persists
If you see all events for the Month it means that either a plugin or your theme is interfering with The Events Calendar. You can reactivate plugins and theme 1 at a time to confirm where the conflict is occurring.
Also if you could let me know what version of The Events Calendar you have installed that would be great as I used the current 3.6.1 version during my testing.
