    Hello friends,
I’ve got some weird behavior on this site. All events are not showing on the page. Events to show is set at 25 so we should be good there.
For example, the calendar page shows one event in September even though there are 2. Here’s another strange thing. If I click on “Next Events” nothing is shown on the next page. When I click “Previous Events” from the “Next Events” page the Events page then shows all events in the list.

This does appear to be related to the theme as all events are shown when reverting to the Twenty Fifteen theme.
The theme developer does not have an answer for this problem. They have a ticket in to their developers but nothing yet to solve this.

Any ideas on how to solve this? My guess is that it is something related to how the /events page displays initially.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give!

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can try to help out.

Thanks for letting me know it has been narrowed down to a theme conflict.

It is hard to say what the issue is. I would look through the functions.php and templates of the theme and look for any rules that modify queries and see if you can find one that might be causing the issue.

If you find something that global modifies queries you could use a conditional to prevent it from running on event templates:

I can try to help answer some more questions, but I am limit in supporting theme conflicts.

Let me know and we can go from here though.

    Thanks

Found the solution with the help of another developer –
Events appear to be categorized as archive posts. In the Divi Options dashboard there is an option to increase the number of archive posts to show. Increasing this number beyond the default allows the theme to show all of the posts.

I hope that this helps someone else!

    Thanks for the information.

It is correct our Event Views (month, list, etc) are setup as archives in WordPress so archive settings can change how they are displayed.

Glad you found the solution and thanks for sharing it.

I am going to close this ticket, but if you need anything else related to this topic or another please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.

    Thanks
